TV gardener Diarmuid Gavin has been awarded a bronze medal in the Show Garden category at this year's Chelsea Flower Show in London.
The Irish designer teamed up with British designer Sir Terence Conran to create a courtyard-style garden planted with bamboos and ferns.
It is centred on an open-sided timber and metal pavilion which has been styled as a coffee and wine bar.
Named 'The Oceanico Garden', the pathways are constructed with reclaimed bricks and the tables and chairs are partially shaded with daisy-shaped parasols.
Diarmuid Gavin is the only Irish garden designer to exhibit at this year's Chelsea Flower Show, which is considered one of the most prestigious shows of its type anywhere in the world.
